Q&A with Utah Class of 2016 commitment Tucker Scott

Before Utah legacy Tucker Scott takes off to forge his own legacy with the Utes as part of the 2016 recruiting class the San Clemente left tackle still has one more season of knocking heads with Southern California opponents. We know the type of player Scott is on the field, vicious, but what is he like off the field?

In an ongoing Recruiting News Guru Q&A series we are attempting to go beyond the helmet and shoulder pads asking a wide range of “getting to know you” questions. Tucker was nice enough to answer a few for us.

What is your favorite movie?

“The Blindside” – the movie about Michael Oher. I like the whole story, how he came from the bottom and rose to the top and now he’s in the NFL.”

Who is your favorite actor?

“Adam Sandler – because he’s hilarious.”

Which TV show is your favorite?

“Hard Knocks”, the training camp show on HBO or just ESPN.”

Which book is your favorite?

“The Long Snapper (A Second Chance, a Super Bowl, a Lesson for Life).” Not sure who it’s by (Jeffery Marx) but I enjoyed it a lot.”

What is your favorite type of music?

“Depends on the mood I’m in, for a game it is either rock or rap.”

Who is your favorite musician?

“Gee-Easy.”

Favorite song?

“Rebel” by Gee-Easy.”

What are some of your hobbies outside of football?

“Hanging out with my friends, we normally go to the beach and surf. Or we play X-box.”

Favorite type of food?

“Cheeseburger.”

Favorite game system?

“Xbox.”

Favorite game?

“Madden 15.”

Who is your favorite athlete?

“Besides my dad (Lance Scott), Michael Oher and Michael Strahan – I like him.”

Favorite Smartphone app?

“Team stream or Instagram.”

Favorite holiday?

“Christmas.”

If you could be a superhero which superhero would you be?

“Superman.”

Favorite professional sports team?

“The New York Giants.”
