The 2018 season was yet another opportunity for Class of 2020 corner Donte Bowers Jr. to showcase his growing skills in Liberty High Schools’ secondary. The Patriots did not shy away from playing what amounts to a national schedule taking on eventual Arizona state champs Saguaro, eventual Utah state champs Lone Peak, and end of season No. 3 nationally ranked IMG Academy (FL). The Patriots ran their season into the 4A Nevada semifinal round colliding with another eventual state champ, Bishop Gorman. Through it all, their 5-10, 170-pound, three-star corner was there to make plays aiding in the successful season earning All-State and All-Conference honors along the way.

The offseason grind is in full-swing for Bowers traveling from the Las Vegas area to California to play in 7v7 tournaments with Ground Zero. Recruiting is picking up and visits have been set. For an update on all that Bowers has going on, we sat down for a quick one-on-one.
