Interview

Kevin, after the big 2019 season you posted on both sides of the ball, what have you been working on this offseason from a strength and conditioning standpoint in preparation for the 2020 season?

“Every morning I am working out and doing wind sprints, working on my stamina, and my back pedal.”

What has been your daily workout routine this spring?

“During the week, like I said, every morning I am working out on legs and arm switching off every other day. I run twice a week and on the rest of the days I lift.”

As a defensive back, which areas of your skills have you focused on the most this spring?

“My discipline, reading my keys, working on my hips, and getting in and out of my breaks.”

Going the other way, what have you worked on as a receiver?

“It has been back to the basics on my routes. I’ve been working on my curl routes, breaking down and getting out of my breaks full speed and I’ve been working my hands, my quickness, and creating space.”

Are you doing anything differently on the field in 2020?

“You might see me playing some at running back, safety, and maybe some at outside linebacker.”

Cool. When do the Warriors report and start offseason workouts this summer?

“We started practicing already. We practice on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday then we have Zoom meetings on Tuesday and Thursday.”

What has you excited to be back into the football routine?

“Getting back with my brothers and putting in the work so we can win it all this year.”

Let’s close out the interview talking about recruiting. How many offers do you have?

“Ten.”

Green’s Offer Sheet (10): Arizona State, Cal, Nebraska, Oregon, Oregon State, Penn State, Tennessee, UNLV, USC, and Utah

Which schools are showing interest but have not offered yet?

When the NCAA mandated dead period is over, are there any school you might pay a visit?

Kevin, great catching up with you today. Wishing you and the team success this summer preparing for the upcoming season.

“Thank you.”
