With the early signing period over and National Signing Day approaching, it is time to look at what recruits have already signed with the college program of their choice and which recruits are still unsigned but yet committed to a college.

Kansas State is coming off a 4-6 regular season in 2020 in their second year under Chris Klieman, and already have a solid group of young men joining the football program next fall.

During the early signing period in December, the Wildcats secured the pledges of eight offensive players and six on the defensive side to fill depth in the program. One matter of the need in the secondary received a boost when Louisville graduate transfer safety Russell Yeast announced his immediate transfer to Kansas State on Dec. 30.

National Signing Day is fast approaching in three weeks and it will be exciting how many more prospects Coach Klieman can recruit to come to Manhattan. As of this writing, the Wildcats hold commitments from several in-state talents including 3-star wide receiver Dorian Stephens from Blue Valley High School in Stilwell, 3-star athlete Desmond Purnelly from Hayden High School in Topeka, and 3-star defensive tackle Damian Ilalio from Manhattan High School in Manhattan who should all sign with Kansas State in February.

With 14 athletes already in the fold, the wait is on to see how many more future Wildcats will sign the dotted line next month.
