Arnold Barnes burst onto the scene during his first year starting for Booker T. Washington High School in New Orleans as the sophomore running back gained 1,031 yards and nine touchdowns on just 81 rushes for an average of 12.7 yards per carry. After the season he was named All-District Honorable Mention.

The 5’11”, 190-pound, power back has tremendous footwork and field vision while also possessing good strength, athleticism and the ability to make plays in the running or passing game.

This Class of 2023 recruit is working hard in the weight room and on the practice field to improve his game and hone his skills as he wants to achieve one of his goals of landing his first college offer.

In an exclusive Recruiting News Guru interview, I caught up with Arnold to talk about his breakout season and get an update on his offseason goals and recruiting process.
