Every season there are multiple high school recruits that come out of the Kansas City area taking their skill-set to the next level as an impact player. The next great Kansas City area prospect looking to make the jump to college is Blue Springs South senior offensive lineman Tristan Roper.

The leader of the Jaguars offensive line is doing everything he can to help lead his team to a successful season despite their 0-2 start to the 2018 season. Roper does a great job blocking in the passing and running games impacting the game as much as he can. After his junior season, Roper’s work on the field was recognized by those around him being named honorable mention All-Conference. Roper further showcased his talents in the offseason camping at numerous colleges to continue to work on his game while showing he can line up against the best of the best in the region.

The Class of 2019 recruit currently holds 12 college offers and is also drawing interest from several colleges including Iowa State and Nebraska. The 6-5, 270-pound, big man is not only a leader on the football field and the weight room but also in the classroom where he has 3.095 GPA and wants to study criminology in college.

In exclusive Recruiting News Guru interview, I sat down with Tristan to discuss his career Blue Springs South and his recruiting process.
