Seth Davis seized the opportunity during his sophomore season as this young running back was projected to start on junior varsity. However, due to opt-outs he was called up to varsity joining his older brother, Jalen, in the Katy backfield.

During the 2020 season, Davis made a name for himself by rushing for 1,745 yards and 18 touchdowns being named Offensive MVP of the Texas 6A State Championship Game.

This 5’8”, 155-pound, speedster has tremendous quickness and vision finding the holes and blowing past the defenders. Davis’ fastest 40-yard dash time is 4.6 and compares his play to former NFL running back Reggie Bush.

After a successful sophomore season and two more years at Katy, it’s only a matter of time before his recruiting process takes off. Not only does Davis star on the gridiron but is also featured on the track team and has a 3.8 GPA in the classroom.

In an exclusive Recruiting News Guru interview, I sat down with Seth to talk about his state championship sophomore season.
