Carthage High School won its second 4A Texas state championship in the past three seasons in 2019 as the Bulldogs finished 16-0. The key for their undefeated run was their high-powered offense that averaged just over 40 points a game. One of the players who anchored this explosive unit was offensive guard Karston Williams.

Williams, a 6-2, 330-pound, behemoth, has tremendous toughness, strength and footwork while never giving up on a play until the whistle blows. Williams also possesses great explosiveness and great blocking ability in the run game.

The Class of 2021 prospect currently has an offer from Whittier and is also drawing interest from several other college programs. It’s only a matter of time until his recruiting process takes off.

Williams is not only a force to be reckoned with on the football field but also in the weight room and the classroom where he currently holds a 3.3 GPA.
