The pickings are getting slim for college football programs across the country seeking that quarterback that can post wins on the board, especially within a specific scheme. After four-star Texas pro-style quarterback Shedeur Sanders shocked the recruiting world verbally committing to Florida Atlantic on Monday (July 13), there are now only three quarterbacks uncommitted in the Top 50; 4-Star Ty Keyes, 3-Star Braylon Braxton, and 3-Star Maddox Kopp. The availability in the next 50 ranked field generals by 247/Sports, 16 three-star talents are still seeking their ideal fit.

2021 Quarterback Recruiting Notes

In the Power 5 ranks, Duke, TCU, USC, Florida, and Mississippi State each have two quarterbacks committed.

Colorado State takes the cake with three 2021 quarterbacks attached.

Louisville, Miami, Ole Miss, Oklahoma State, Maryland, Rutgers, Colorado, Vanderbilt, and Alabama are without a QB commitment.
