Interview: Q&A with Flintridge Prep QB Andrew Tsangeos

Class of 2016 Flintridge dual-threat quarterback Andrew Tsangeos is a tactician on the field. Regardless of what he does on the field Andrew is a technician dissecting defenses ending his junior season with a 22/3 touchdown to interception ratio while rushing for over 600 yards with another 12 scores.

But what is the Los Angeles area rising star like away from the gridiron?

Taking time out from his offseason workouts Andrew answered some “getting to know you” questions covering ground on pop culture, food, and favorite video games.

What’s your favorite movie?

“The Blindside.” I like that movie a lot, pretty amazing story. “Get Smart” is one of the funniest movies I’ve ever seen.”

Who is your favorite actor?

“Steve Carell.”

Which TV show is your favorite?

“Sponge Bob, it’s a classic. Right now House of Cards is my favorite, I like that a lot.”

What is your favorite type of music?

“R&B.”

Who is your favorite musician?

“Chris Brown and Usher are my favorite musicians.”

Do you have a favorite song?

“I like a lot of stuff, no favorites.”

What music do you listen to get hyped before a game, practice, or lifting?

“I don’t listen to music before games, I’m pumped enough already. I don’t need anything else.”

What hobbies do you have?

“Other than sports, singing. I’m in the school choir. I play ping-pong and tennis too.”

What is your favorite type of food?

“Korean BBQ.”

Favorite game system?

“Xbox.”

Favorite games on Xbox?

“NCAA whatever the most recent games are.”

Who is your favorite athlete?

“Derek Jeter or Brett Favre.”

Which holiday is your favorite holiday?

“Christmas is my favorite holiday.”

If you could be a superhero which superhero would you be?

“Wolverine from X-Men.”

Your favorite professional sports team?

“In football it’s the Packers.”
