The Falcons pushed their reported 2017 recruiting class to 26 members with a paired commitment from Aledo High School linebackers Rhett Harris and Will Trawick on Saturday.

On the Texas gridiron, the Bearcats pushed their 2016 record to 6-0 with a 69-0 trouncing of Azle on Friday night. The following day, the linebacker duo joined fellow Texas linebacker Stephen Turner (North Mesquite) and Maryland talent Grant Donaldson (DeMartha Catholic) as the Falcons four 2017 linebackers.

Aledo has manufactured several lopsided wins leaving little time for the starters to get minutes on the field. Stats posted through six games with limited action has Trawick (6-1, 224) with 18 stops, three tackles for a loss, one sack, and a fumble recovery while Harris (6-1, 206) has 30 tackles, four tackles for a loss, and an interception returned 59 yards.

Trawick had a reported offer from Davidson while Harris had another offer from Arkansas Tech.

Harris and Trawick are the fourth Bearcats to commit to a Division-I team joining tight end Logan Peterson (Texas State) and offensive lineman Wes Harris (four-star, TCU). All eyes are on another Aledo talent, four-star offensive tackle Chuck Filiaga to see which team earns his signature on National Signing Day.
