Arkansas freshman Nick Babb transferring from basketball team

Arkansas head coach Mike Anderson announced on Thursday that freshman guard Nick Babb is transferring from the Razorbacks basketball program.

Babb, 6’4”, 180 pounds, was part of Arkansas’ 2014 recruiting class heading to Fayetteville from Martin High School in Arlington, Texas. Babb picked the Hogs over offers from Texas A&M, Tulsa, Wichita State, SMU, and Rice among others.

Anderson spoke about Babb’s decision to transfer stating, “Nick is a good kid and has done everything right in his time with our program.” Anderson expanded upon the parting of ways adding the freshman wanted more playing time.

Babb appeared in 26 games for the Hogs tallying 19 points and 20 rebounds.
