Anytime a team has lined up against Brophy Prep College in Phoenix over the last two seasons, the first question before drawing up a game plan or snapping the ball is where is No. 90?

No. 90 has been a terror in opposing Arizona high school backfields using his 6’7”, 255 pound, frame to bull rush past right and left tackles from his defensive end position laying waste to helpless quarterbacks with or without the ball in his hands. No matter if Connor Murphy is lining up on the outside or in the middle he is there to help stuff the run.

College coaches love what they see in Murphy as he nears 20 reported Division-I scholarship offers. Teams extending offers include Michigan, Oregon, Oklahoma State, Vanderbilt, Wisconsin, San Diego State, Oregon State, Nebraska, Boston College, Stanford – where his brother played ball, USC, UCLA, and in-state powers Arizona State and Arizona.

Murphy’s 2015 stat line through five games, per MaxPreps, includes 23 tackles, 3.5 tackles for a loss, one sack, and four quarterback hurries. The stat line maybe accurate but seems widely inaccurate due to Murphy’s presence on the field.

The 4-star recruit released his four-game highlight reel letting the general public see what all the fuss is about down in Phoenix. (Click the link to see Connor’s highlight reel via Hudl)
