One of the hidden gems of the 2017 recruiting class is Sierra Canyon running back Bobby Cole. During Cole’s 2014 season, he split time in the backfield with senior tailback Kaizer Butler but still managed 1,126 yards with 10 scores off 128 carries.

The Trailblazers (Chatsworth, CA) are 4-0 this season and Cole is adding to his reputation during his junior season as the team’s featured back. The 5’9”, 183 pound, talent has 504 yards rushing through four games posting a 168 yard per game average with eight touchdowns. Showing his all-purpose abilities, he’s added to his stat line two receptions for 15 yards with another touchdown.

Recruiting interest is just starting for Bobby with teams like Arizona, Washington, and Washington State coming around. Cal is hosting Bobby and OL/DL junior teammate Kanan Ray in Week 5 of the college football season for the Washington State game.

In a Recruiting News Guru exclusive interview, I caught up with Bobby before a Sierra Canyon practice to get his thoughts on the remainder of the 2015 schedule along with a recruiting update.
