Seems like all Clemson does is collect four-star or better talent adding their eleventh highly rated Class of 2017 talent on Monday with linebacker Justin Foster.

The U.S. Army All-American Bowl invitee is one of the more fought over linebackers on the 2017 recruiting trail. Foster has added size while keeping his speed to his big frame now tipping the scales at 6-4, 250. Foster’s overall talents makes him versatile enough to play in the middle for Clemson or on the outside as a rush end if needed.

Clemson fought off offers from Alabama, Georgia, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Florida, LSU, South Carolina, Vanderbilt, Texas A&M, Duke, Nebraska, Michigan, Tennessee, and Stanford for Foster’s commitment. Foster posted his commitment on Twitter with a statement:

Foster has been a regular on the Clemson campus taking several unofficial visits over the past two seasons.

The hype around Foster began during his sophomore season and on into his junior campaign helping Crest High School to back-to-back 16-0 seasons taking home North Carolina 3A top honors. In 11 games during his junior season, Foster had 67 tackles, 12 tackles for a loss, three sacks, and two forced fumbles. In three games played this season, Foster has 32 tackles, three tackles for a loss, and an interception.

The Tigers, with 14 verbal commitments, now have the No. 7 overall ranked recruiting class in the nation per 247Sports, tops in the ACC.
