Being a tremendous athlete allowed Keenan Jackson Jr. (6-3, 180) to show off his offensive skills for collegiate scouts throughout the 2023 season. Osceola High School (Ark.) relied on Jackson’s ability to move the ball down the field lining him up at quarterback, giving him totes out of the backfield, and gave him targets at his natural receiver position. For now, college programs are overlooking the nine-offer talent.

Jackson spoke about his senior run, “We made it to the second round, but it wasn’t too good. I was triple teamed, but I played some at quarterback. I was all around the ball this year.”

The Seminoles got 34 receptions covering 571 yards with nine trips into the end zone out of Jackson. Pushing his all-purpose yards forward, he threw for 474 yards with six scores and rushed for 144 yards posting another touchdown on the board. If that wasn’t enough, the Seminoles also had him returning punts and kicks.

Asked about the response he is receiving from next level scouts on his senior film, Jackson replied, “A lot of coaches are hitting me up loving my film, but spots are filled with commitments. That is a big problem right now, spots are filled.”

The waiting game heavily influenced by the transfer portal has four teams keeping contact with Jackson.

Missouri State is hitting me up, Ole Miss, Kansas, and Kansas State,” Jackson shared. “Most of the offers I received, those offers are filled right now with commits.”

Some of the offering teams for Jackson includes Arkansas State, Buffalo, Liberty, UAB, and UNLV.
