Florida 2024 ATH Leon Washington forcing college scouts to take notice

ORLANDO, Fla. – The overall package that Leon Washington Jr. brings to the field is hard to match. Still widely under the radar, six offers have been extended with Mississippi State and South Florida making an impact.

In the month of March, Washington visited Florida State and USF. The trip to Tallahassee was covered.

“It was good,” Washington said. “They showed a lot of energy, I love the culture there.”

Out of Tampa, the Bulls’ coaching staff has stayed after Washington.

“I had been there before; they have been consistent in recruiting me,” Washington stated.

Another in-state program may welcome Washington this spring.

“I will probably visit Florida,” Washington said. “Florida is a big one that I want to go to.”

Washington continued, “They have been talking to me a lot telling me to keep my head up and trust the process. I like them a lot.”
