The summer months have been extremely productive for the Fresno State coaching staff landing all 10 of their verbal commitments over the duration. The tenth was added on Tuesday when Miami area linebacker Robert McWilliams pledged to the Bulldogs.

McWilliams started jumping on recruiting boards after helping Coral Gables to a 10-2 mark during his junior season against tough Florida 8A competition. His play on the field helped bring in offers from Florida Atlantic, McNeese State, and Florida International with reported interest from Wisconsin, Temple, Army, and South Carolina.

Fresno State was the third team to offer McWilliams getting the offer on May 20. McWilliams made his announcement national news via Twitter posting:

The Bulldogs staff has not limited their recruiting to California confines. Fresno has pulled multiple players from Florida and Texas. The class is highlighted by three-star defensive back Raheme Fuller.

McWilliam’s Cavaliers team has started the season off 2-0 with wins over Carol City and South Dade.
