Fun Q&A Interview with 2018 LSU Baseball Commit Jaden Hill

College baseball’s gain was college football’s loss on Dec. 22 when Class of 2018 all-around phenomenal athlete Jaden Hill decided being on the mound instead of being in the pocket was the best course forward. The 6-3.5, 206 pound, standout for Ashdown High School had four football offers extended from Missouri, Louisiana Tech, Arkansas State, and Louisiana-Monroe. With a 93 mph fastball, collegiate skippers where waiting in line for Hill as well. Oklahoma, Kentucky, Missouri, and in-state powerhouse Arkansas all wanted him on their staff at the next level. In the end LSU won out.
LSU fans and fans of Arkansas high school athletics are wanting to know more about the junior with the million dollar arm. In a Recruiting News Guru stylized interview, I did a quick Q&A with Hill to find out a little bit more about him off the playing fields.

Jaden, what is your favorite movie?
“Hard Target 2.”
Who is your favorite actor?
“Denzel Washington.”
Who is your favorite actress?
“Does Tyler Perry dressed as a woman count? If not, the Fast and Furious ladies (Jordana Brewster and Michelle Rodriguez).”
What is your favorite TV show?
“Empire.”
What is your favorite book?
“I like informational books and books about sports.”
What is your favorite type of music?
“Rap.”
Do you have a favorite musician or band?
“Rich Homie Quan (Hip Hop).”
What is your favorite song?
“Dear Momma by Tupac Shakur.”
What music do you listen to getting hyped for a game or practice?
“We listen to all types of music. We play whatever.”
What hobbies do you have outside of football and baseball?
“Nothing really, just an athlete’s life. I have one goal and I’m sticking to it until it is time for me to change it.”
Do you have any unique skills like speak a foreign language or a good cook?
“Not really.”
What is your favorite type of food?
“Mexican.”
Do you have a favorite game system?
“Xbox 360. I have not played games in a while. That was the last one I played.”
What is your favorite game on Xbox?
“Madden 16.”
What is your favorite subject in school?
“History.”
Who is your favorite all-time athlete?
“Bo Jackson (Auburn).”
My infamous best or worst question you’ll ever be asked in an interview, If you could be a superhero which superhero would you be?
“Superman but the Cam Newton (Carolina Panthers) kind turning into Superman.”
Which team is your favorite professional sports team?
“The Steelers. I want to give a shout out to Steelers wide receiver Cobi Hamilton (Arkansas Razorbacks). He is family.”
