Fun Q&A Interview with Byrd Louisiana QB Deuce Caston

Written by Charlie Beuttel

Deuce Caston has done a great job leading the Byrd Yellow Jackets since taking over under center. Byrd has won 24 football games in the past two years including posting a 13-1 record in 2014.

Caston had about 400 yards both on the ground and in the air in his junior season. The 5’8”, 175 pound, quarterback also had 20 touchdowns, eight on the ground and 12 through the air.

The Class of 2016 recruit has received interest from Southeastern, Stephen F. Austin and McNeese State while visiting Southeastern and Stephen F. Austin.

The expectations are just as high for Caston and the Yellow Jackets in 2015 after Byrd reached the Louisiana 5A quarterfinals last year. Caston is ready to lead this Byrd team one final time in 2015 and have a monster senior season in the process.
