Georgia Football: Interview with Bremen All-Region Offensive Lineman Avery Hill

Avery Hill has been a staple on the Bremen High School offensive line over the past couple of seasons including in 2020 when he was named First-Team All-Region after his junior season. Going into his senior campaign, Hill has even higher goals including bringing home a state title.
This 6’5”, 280-pound, monster plays with great strength and footwork and he does a great job in pass protection and coming off the ball. Hill is also a beast in the weight room.
The 2022 prospect already holds two college offers and is drawing interest from several other programs at the next level.
In an exclusive Recruiting News Guru interview, I caught up with Avery to talk about his career at Bremen High School and get an update on his recruiting process.

Avery, what are your thoughts on your senior season thus far?
It’s been great so far, and I can’t wait to see what the rest of the season holds for the team.
What are your strengths on the football field?
Pass protection and coming off the ball fast.
What do you like most about playing on the offensive line?
The feeling of putting someone on their back.
What are your maxes in the weight room?
My max power clean is 290, my max bench is 290, and my max squat is 405.
Is there an NFL player that you try to model your game after?
Mitchell Schwartz.
How would you describe your style of play?
Technically sound but nasty when needed.
Did you attend any camps this summer?
Troy, Georgia State, Georgia Southern, Charleston Southern, Tennessee Tech, Florida State, Mercer, and Samford.
What was your favorite camp and why?
Georgia State, because that’s where I felt I had my best performance.
Do you have any college offers?
Samford and Stetson.
Are there any other schools showing interest in you?
Georgia Southern, Troy, and Charleston Southern.
What do you like most about playing at Bremen?
The environment and how everyone around the town loves football.
Do you play any other sports at Bremen?
I play basketball and I’m on the track team.
What do you want your legacy to be after you graduate?
I want to be remembered as a great teammate and leader; someone kids can look up too.
What are your goals for the rest of your senior season?
I want to win a state championship.
