Georgia added their tenth verbal commitment to the 2017 recruiting class on Wednesday securing a verbal commitment from Florida wide receiver Matt Landers.

Landers started coming into his own during his junior season pulling in 34 passes for 1,038 yards with 15 scores helping Admiral Farragut to a 10-2 record in 2015. The 6’5”, 185 pound, target should prove to be a chain mover and red zone threat at the collegiate level.

The athleticism and abilities Landers can bring to a college program has not been lost on coaches. Landers had over 20 reported scholarship offers with teams like Florida State, Auburn, Michigan, Miami, Louisville, Kentucky, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Rutgers, Pitt, West Virginia, Indiana, North Carolina, Notre Dame, and Florida all seeking his services at the next level.

Per the class committed, the Bulldogs are looking to go big on the outside under new head coach Kirby Smart. All three wide receiver commits are at least 6-foot 2-inches with Landers and Xavier Jenkins both listed at 6-foot 5-inches.
