Grossmont JUCO LB Nick Galatis Releases Highlight Reel

The 2015 season has been a long time coming for Grossmont linebacker Nick Galatis. The sophomore had a couple of injury setbacks that slowed down his on the field growth since he graduated from Clairemont in San Diego after an outstanding high school career.

The 6’1”, 235 pound, athlete is tearing it up for Grossmont living up to the preseason recruiting rankings as one of the top linebackers in the nation. He leads his team in tackles with 85, sacks (4.5), tackles for a loss (9) and has two pass breakups, a forced fumble, fumble recovery, and an interception.

Galatis can play inside and outside, as seen on his highlight reel. He’s a linebacker’s linebacker seemingly always around the ball making a play or doing his part to turn the play back inside for his teammates to clean up. Some of the schools excited about Galatis’ talents include Cal, Rhode Island, Weber State, Wagner, Savannah State, Central Arkansas, and Washington State. Schools showing various levels of interest include Florida State, UCLA, USC, Utah State, Fresno State, and Oregon.
