Interview

Rashard, what’s your most memorable game in your four-year career so far?

“Beating Archer last season. It was 12-7, so a close game. Our defense was tested versus one of the best offenses in Georgia.”

Why did you choose to commit to UAB?

“They’ve showed me love since Day 1, honestly. The coaching staff as a whole clicked with me since they first offered me.”

What is it like playing for one of the best high school football coaches of all-time in Rush Prospst?

“It is intense! He’s a legend, so we respect him 100 percent. Coach Prospst is the best in the country.”

Who are some of your favorite defensive backs to watch in the NFL?

“Minkah Fitzpatrick (Miami) and Karl Joesph (Oakland).”

What’s your one weakness you want to improve on?

“Man coverage, because I split time between linebacker and safety. I love playing in the box and hitting, but overall better coverage will help me in the passing game in college.”

Rashard, thanks for your time today and good luck with the rest of the season.

“Thank you.”
