After a junior season passing for 3,112 yards with 20 scores and a 207-yard campaign on the ground with another touchdown going up on the board, college coaches are falling in love with Class of 2020 quarterback Doug Brumfield. The 6-5, 213-pound, strong-armed talent has drawn six offers thus far with more collegiate scouts coming to the Serra (Gardena) gridiron to see him in action. Utah, Rutgers, Nevada, UNLV, William and Mary, and Kansas have offered with the Jayhawks hosting the Los Angeles area talent over the weekend. For an update on his recruiting and spring workouts, I got a few minutes with one of California’s fastest rising gunslingers.
