Season long series of RNG interviews with Eastside Catholic High School 4-star 2020 RB/ATH Sam Adams. Adams updates the last couple of Crusader wins with a quick preview of the upcoming game against Bellevue.

Interview

Sam, the Crusaders continue to roll on offense through the first three games of the playoffs. Is there anything you guys are doing differently on that side of the ball in the money games?

“We’re not doing anything differently, just playing how we’re supposed to play because we know what’s on the line.”

The defense is putting a lid on the opposition as well. How have the two playoffs games gone for you personally thus far on that side of the ball?

“I believe I’ve been playing well and helping my team out when they need me, especially when it’s coming down to late playoffs.”

How about on offense, how have the first two games gone and what is working well for you?

“Getting together with my offense and going over film before every game is really beneficial so that we can come out with a comfortable plan.”

You guys get a tough Bellevue (12-0) team on Saturday, what are you expecting from their defense?

“We’re expecting a pretty good defense. We’ve seen them fly around the ball.”

Are there any in-game match-ups that you have on either side of the ball that the fans will enjoy watching?

“Drew Fowler playing linebacker and running back will be a pretty good match-up for me. I believe people have their eyes on that.”

Sam, great catching up with you today. Good luck on Saturday.

“Thank you.”
