In 2017, Coach Terrence Isaac was hired to turn the football program around at Green Oaks High School in Shreveport (LA). In just his second season the Giants returned to the playoffs but unfortunately lost in the first round. This season, expectations are growing around the team as Coach Isaac is preparing to take his team back to the postseason. One of the stars on the field for Green Oaks who is also helping turn the program around is star junior quarterback Keith Baker.

Baker has been starting since halfway through his freshman season throwing for 30 touchdowns covering 2,808 yards in 2018. The 5’10”, 170-pound, pro-style quarterback has been working hard this summer to hone his skills to have an even better season in 2019. Baker not only leads the Giants on the football field but has a 3.3 GPA in the classroom.

The Class of 2021 prospect has already been drawing interest from college programs and attended several college camps this past summer.

In an exclusive Recruiting News Guru interview, I sat down with the Green Oaks signal-caller to discuss his career at Green Oaks, working with Coach Isaac and his recruiting process.
