After a 1-9 finish in the 2016 season, Green Oaks High School, located in Shreveport, decided it was time for a coaching change. Following the season, the Giants relieved head coach Curtis Evans of his duties and hired Terrence Isaac Sr. formerly of A Plus Academy in Dallas (TX) to become the new head coach and offensive coordinator at Green Oaks.

However Coach Isaac will not be the only member of his family joining becoming a part of the 2017 Green Oaks football program as his son, Terrence Isaac Jr., who will a be a freshman this fall will join the team and play wide receiver.

The 6’0”, 157 pound, young athlete had a solid eighth grade season in Dallas as he snagged 38 passes for 551 yards and had 10 receiving touchdowns. After the season he won several individual honors including being named the MVP of his team.

The Class of 2021 prospect still has four seasons of high school football remaining but is already working hard with his new teammates in the weight room and in 7-on-7 drills to prepare for the upcoming season.

Isaac is excited to play for dad at his new school but knows nothing will come easy as “he makes me earn everything.”

In an exclusive Recruiting News Guru interview, I sat down with Terrence to discuss playing for his dad and his transition to Green Oaks.
