When Norco High School (CA) had completed the 2015 season, the Cougars had posted an 8-3 mark. The Inland Empire squad had talent at key positions with quarterback Victor Viramontes (Cal) at quarterback and athlete/defensive back Troy Dye (Oregon) but surprisingly enough had a ton of underclassmen sharpening their craft leading to high expectations for the future. One of the rising stars on the team is two-way lineman Jarrett Bell.

Through nine games, Bell had 37 tackles, 15 solo, 8.5 tackles for a loss, two sacks, and a forced fumble. Bell (6-4.5, 275) has been a mainstay on the varsity level since midway through his freshman season. When the 2016 season begins, Bell will expand his talents to both sides of the ball.

In a Recruiting News Guru exclusive interview, I got a couple of minutes with Bell after Norco’s spring showcase in front of at least 30 different college coaches if not more.
