In 2019, Lawrence High School was one of the most improved teams in the whole state as the Lions, who finished 1-8 in 2018, flipped the script and finished last season 8-1. The Lions are loaded with talent among all classes. All that talent is ready to lead Lawrence into a deep playoff run in 2020. One of the key returning stars ready to lead the charge deep into the Kansas 6A playoffs is offensive tackle Noah Smith.

Smith uses his quick hands and athleticism to move well on the offensive line and demonstrates his high football IQ as he battles in the trenches. This Class of 2022 lineman is drawing interest from several Big 12 programs including Kansas and Kansas State. Smith has also attended several college camps in the past including Iowa State.

This 6’4”, 295-pound, monster is working hard in the weight room and on the practice field to get quicker as he plays one of the most important positions on the football field, left tackle.

Going into his junior season, Smith is not only already great leadership in practice but also in the classroom where he has a 3.6 GPA.

In an exclusive Recruiting News Guru interview, I caught up with Noah to discuss his career at Lawrence and his recruiting process.
