Kaden Fields has made a name for himself at Osawatomie High School over the past three seasons. During his junior campaign, Fields racked up 64 total tackles and 3.5 sacks on defense and was a force on the offensive line.

This 6’5”, 300-pound, monster plays with confidence, intensity, and physicality. He possesses good speed and quickness for his size. The 2022 prospect already has four offers including one from Emporia State and is also drawing interest from Kansas State.

Interview

Kaden, what are your strengths on the football field?

My strengths on the field are my confidence and my size and how I use it. I truly believe that I can dominate anyone against on the line in the whole state of Kansas. My size is unique and I feel like I can move just as well as a 260-pound tight end.

What did you work on the most this offseason?

I worked on transferring my weight on my feet and hips as well as losing fat and putting the weight on as muscle. My main focus was to just be as quick as possible.

Did you attend any camps this offseason?

I attended camps at Pittsburg State, Emporia State, Kansas, and Kansas State. Then I moved out of state and attended camps at North Dakota State, North Dakota, South Dakota, a National Preps camp in Dallas, and a Six-Star camp in St. Louis.

What camp was your favorite and why?

Kansas State was my favorite because I loved the facilities and it was a huge eye-opener on how perfect you have to be to get an offer from the big schools.

What kind of feedback are you receiving about your football skills?

My feedback was really good. I’ve received really good and productive criticism from college coaches.

What is your mindset heading into your senior season?

To be meticulous as possible in everything I do and to lead. I want to give my teammates the right mindset to win games and to teach the younger players.

What are your goals going into 2021?

I want to pick my college and commit before January, and enjoy my last season in high school.

What game on the schedule are you most looking forward to playing?

Prairie View because it’s a rival, and I hate them with a passion.

What schools are showing interest in you?

Emporia State, Pittsburg State, Kansas State, South Dakota, North Dakota.

How many offers do you have at this time and from what schools?

Coffeyville C.C., Butler C.C., Mid-American Nazarene, and Emporia State.

Is there an NFL player that you try to model your game after?

Ray Lewis, because he is the hardest hitting most brutal guy I can think of.

What is your GPA?

3.0.

Do you have a favorite quote or Bible verse?

John 3:16 and 2 Timothy 2:3-4.

Thanks for your time and good luck this season.

Thank you, sir.
