Kansas City (KS) is full of high school football talent and produces numerous college football prospects from both the big and small high schools in the area. One name to watch is Joshua Becton who plays at Schlagle High School.

Becton stars as a defensive back but also makes big plays as a kick returner for the Stallions. The 5’10”, 160-pound, playmaker uses his excellent speed and agility to make big tackles in the open-field and to break tackles on special teams.

The Class of 2020 prospect is currently receiving interest from numerous colleges after attending a handful of camps this past summer. The senior leader not only works hard on the football but also in the classroom where he has a 3.0 GPA and has plans to study sports medicine in college.

In an exclusive Recruiting News Guru interview, I sat down with Joshua to discuss his recruiting process and his senior season at Schlagle.
