Lamar High School TE Blake Kern to Walk-On at Arkansas

Arkansas has received a walk-on commitment from in-state Lamar High School tight end/athlete Blake Kern.
Kern (6-6, 230) was a two-way player during his senior season hauling in 16 passes for 332 yards with nine touchdowns. He also rushed for 675 yards off 88 carries with six additional scores. On defense he tallied 61 stops, three picks, two tackles for a loss, two sacks, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery playing defensive end. The do-everything talent even had 109 punt return yards and 20 kick return yards helping lead the Warriors to a 10-3 mark in 2015.
