Louisiana: Fun Q&A Interview with Cecilia RB Raymond Calais Jr.

Cecilia is off to a great start in 2015 as they are 5-1 through their first six games of the season. One of the leaders of the Bulldogs is senior running back Raymond Calais Jr.
The senior workhorse has 1,081 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns through the first six games of the season and has set goals of reaching 2,000 yards for the second consecutive year. Calais also has a personal best time of 4.31 at the 40 yard dash.
In 2014, Calais received many individual honors including All-Acadiana, All-District, All-State honorable mention and first-team All-State Coaches selection. The senior speedster attended four college camps this summer, has gone on two visits to Southern Miss and Louisiana-Lafayette, and has four Division-I offers from Southern Miss, McNeese State, Nichols State, and Southeastern at this time.
Not only does Calais excel on the football field but also has a 3.7 GPA in the classroom.
Last week I sat down with Raymond to talk all things football but I also asked him some rapid fire questions to find out what the star running back is like off the field.

“Friday Night Lights.”

“Family Guy.”
Who is your favorite actor?
“Will Smith.”
What is your favorite Will Smith movie?
“Hancock.”
What is your favorite subject in school?
“Math.”
What is your favorite holiday and why?
“Christmas, it’s just a time of joy and it’s fun.”
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
“I’ve already been to Paris and London so my dreams already came true.”
Who is your favorite superhero and why?
“Flash, cause he is fast just like me.”
Who is your favorite football team?
“The New England Patriots.”
Who is your favorite Patriots player?
“Tom Brady, that’s my boy.”
Do you have any favorite sports teams outside of football?
“I like the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Los Angeles Lakers.”
Do you have a favorite player on the Thunder or Lakers?
“Kobe Bryant.”
