There are highly ranked high school football recruits all over the United States glorified for their play on the field. But, one area that most people don’t think of when they talk about next level impact recruits, but that area continually produces great college football talent, is New England. One of the next talents looking to make the jump to college football out of the northwest corner of the U.S. is Catholic Memorial senior athlete Khari Johnson.

Johnson, 5-11, 180 pounds, is an all-around athlete who uses his physical gifts and great technique to make big plays all over the field, and on both sides of the ball. The West Roxbury (MA) area talent has helped the Knights start the new season 1-0 after destroying St. John’s (Shrewsbury) 49-25.

The Class of 2019 prospect currently holds two college offers, one from Navy and one from Bryant. He is also drawing interest from Division I programs including Northwestern and Boston College. Johnson not only stars on the football field but also in the classroom where he has 3.2 GPA and has plans to study finance in college.

In an exclusive Recruiting News Guru interview, I sat down with Khari to go over how his recruiting process and discuss out his senior season is playing out.
