Overview
Fort Osage had a great year in 2014. The Indians went undefeated until they suffered a heartbreaking 21-20 loss to Park Hill in the quarterfinals of the playoffs. Fort Osage blew away the competition in the regular season with three wins by a margin of 10 points or less.

Going into 2015, the Indians have the experience, talent, and heart to have another 10+ win season. Fort Osage’s two toughest games are at Blue Springs on August 28 and at Staley on September 18.

Offense
The Indians scored 37 points a game last year and returns six offensive starters. The returning offensive leader is senior quarterback and Kansas State commit, Skylar Thompson. Thompson threw for 2,400 yards, 24 touchdowns, and ran for 461 yards with another nine touchdowns in 2014.

Senior running back Bailey Williamson (6’3”, 195) ran for 500 yards last year and will be the Indians starter this year. The offensive line is led by senior Cal Harris and Trent Roller. Both big men were named second-team All-League. Another offensive weapon is senior Matt Smith. Smith had 322 receiving yards and six touchdowns in 2014.

Defense
Fort Osage returns eight starters on a defense that gave up just over 17 points a game. Senior defensive tackle Sima Thomas is the leader of the defensive line. Thomas was selected second-team All-State and had eight sacks in 2014.

Jonah Tuimaseve Fort Osage

Jonah Tuimaseve and Alec Chavez are both returning senior starters at the linebacker position. Tuimaseve was selected first-team All-Conference and had 79 tackles last year. Seniors Bryce Richardson and Dayton O’Dell are the leaders of the secondary. Both defensive backs had two interceptions in 2014.
