North Kansas City High School had a rough season in 2017 as the Hornets struggled through a 3-7 campaign scoring 26 points per game on average. In the first round of the playoffs, North Kansas City lost a heart-breaker to Truman, 27-26, to end the season. In 2018, the Hornets are looking to rebound and compete in their district starting this Friday night against Grandview. One of the senior stars who will be leading the charge is running back and linebacker Clyde Price.

In 2017, the 6-0, 210-pound, playmaker had 2,433 rushing yards with 33 touchdowns. After the season, Price won several individual honors at running back including first team All-State and first team All-Conference and took home second team All-Conference honors at linebacker.

The Class of 2019 prospect currently has a handful offers including Northern Iowa and Southern Illinois but is also drawing interest from other schools. Price is not only a leader on the football field but also in the classroom where he has 2.8 GPA and wants to study education in college.

In an exclusive Recruiting News guru interview, I sat down with Clyde to discuss his senior season and his recruiting process.
