As the Cornhuskers rebuild their program under head second-year head coach Scott Frost, top national recruits are responding. Nebraska finished the 2019 recruiting haul with the 18th ranked class in the nation. As the 2020 class continues to add talent, the 2021 class is picking up some momentum as well landing in-state four-star offensive lineman Teddy Prochazka on Saturday.

Prochazka has worked his way into four-star recruiting status at Elkhorn South High School since making the squad as a freshman in 2017. The 6-8, 260-pound, lineman dominates Class A competition repeatedly racking up knockdowns and pancakes using sound technique and power. His quick feet allow the Storm to use him on pulls taking on interior lineman and linebackers from his left tackle position to blow open holes for running backs.

The Cornhuskers sealed the border on one of the state’s top 2021 recruits over seven other reported offers. Other Division-I programs giving a scholarship offer to Prochazka includes Arizona State, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Michigan, Minnesota, and Northwestern.

Nebraska’s 2021 class now has two commits. Prochazka joins University School (Fort Lauderdale) three-star defensive end RJ Sorensen. Prochazka notified the Cornhusker fan base on Twitter stating, “I’m staying home” followed by the following posted message:
