The University of Nevada got two big commitments on Wednesday, pun intended, when they landed both offensive guard Bryce Petersen and offensive tackle Nick Ford.

Petersen was a nice pick-up for the Wolf Pack pulling the McKinleyville High School talent away from offers extended by Iowa State, San Jose State, Idaho, UNLV, and Sacramento State.

Ford is an under the radar recruit out of San Pedro Senior High School. Nevada added Ford over offers from Eastern Washington, Northern Colorado, and UNLV.

Nevada now has five verbal commitments to their 2017 class highlighted by quarterback Jamaal Evans and linebacker Trevor Price.

Nevada Wolf Pack 2017 Verbal Commitment List

LB Trevor Price, 5-10, 210, Cedar Ridge HS, Austin, TX

OC Dominic Gudino, 6-2, 302, Olympian HS, Chula Vista, CA

OG Bryce Petersen, 6-3, 280, McKinleyville HS, McKinleyville, CA

OT Nick Ford, 6-6, 270, San Pedro Senior, San Pedro, CA

QB Jamaal Evans, 6-2, 205, Centennial HS, Las Vegas, NV
