Oklahoma State Lands South Hills Texas Wallace Brothers Tracin and Tylan

Oklahoma State got a two for one deal on Monday landing accomplished athletes Tracin and Tylan Wallace out of the Fort Worth, Texas area.

The Wallace brothers helped South Hills High School to a 7-5 mark in 2015 after leading the Scorpions in the 5A Division to a 9-2 record during the 2014 campaign. Both brothers have played their way into being highly sought after commodities by next level coaches along the way.

Tylan has been a playmaker since his sophomore season coming up with 149 rushing yards off just seven carries with two scores and pulled down 34 passes for 801 yards with another 11 touchdowns. During the 2015 season he upped his stat line hauling in 59 passes for 1,439 yards with 20 touchdowns and carried the ball 14 times for 172 yards finding the end zone two more times.

Tracin, playing quarterback and safety, had an outstanding sophomore season completing 123 of 180 passes for 2,123 yards with 30 scores against three picks. Showing his dual-threat abilities, he rushed for 1,393 yards on 131 carries with 22 more scores.

At the time of his commitment, Tracin, a 3-star recruit, was pushing double-digit offers with Vanderbilt, Houston, Florida International, Tulsa, North Texas, Middle Tennessee State, and Virginia extending offers. Tylan, a 4-star recruit, received offers from Michigan, Houston, Arizona State, Notre Dame, Oregon, SMU, Tulsa, Kansas State, North Texas, Oklahoma, Washington, and Maryland among others.

The Cowboys now have six verbal commitments to their 2017 recruiting class with four of the six coming from the Lone Star State.
