Oklahoma State Secures 2017 Snow College DT Ioane Leilua

Oklahoma State overcame the loss on Monday of three-star Texas cornerback Tyon Merchant by adding junior college defensive tackle Ioane Leilua on Wednesday.

Leilua was part of a Snow College team that posted a 6-4 record this season. With stats posted through eight games played, Leilua is credited with 28 tackles and an interception this season.

Cowboy fans (6-2, 300) found out about the new addition to the class on Twitter with Leilua posting, “Proud to announce my commitment to Oklahoma State University. #CowboyUp.”

Rivals ranks Oklahoma State’s 2017 class No. 36 in the nation with one four-star recruit (Chuba Hubbard) and 15 three-star prospects.
