Ole Miss Lands Under the Radar ATH/DB Myles Hartsfield from East Coast Prep

Stock in 2016 recruits is flying off the boards with many lightly recruited kids from across the nation being thrust into the limelight quickly as teams scour the nation for top talent to fill their rosters. One of the many recruits seeing an immediate jump in options over the last couple of weeks is East Coast Prep athlete/cornerback/wide receiver Myles Hartsfield.
The New Jersey native played a little bit of everywhere for his Massachusetts squad in 2015 lining up at kick and punt returner, wide receiver, and at cornerback. The 6’0”, 195 pound, athlete racked up 23 tackles, nine pass breakups, and two picks this season. Hartsfield, seemingly off the radar to most schools, picked up quality offers from UCLA, Temple, Boston College, and East Carolina before siding with Ole Miss on Tuesday.
Hartsfield was a one-time Penn State commit but did not get an offer the second time through the process by the Nittany Lions.
The Rebels currently have 19 verbal commitments to their 2016 class. Despite the multiple positions played for East Coast Prep, Hartsfield is being recruited as a safety for Ole Miss. Thus far, Mississippi has gone heavier on the offensive side of the ball with 11 players slated to help put points on the board once in Oxford.
