VENICE, Fla. – College teams wanting to jump ahead of the pack in the recruiting race for an up-and-coming defensive lineman should check out Eli Jones. The Class of 2025 prospect is a rising talent out of Florida’s Venice High School. Jones got some snaps during the Indians’ championship game run last fall as a then- 6-foot, 4-inch, 220-pound, defensive end. The offseason has made a world of difference with Jones now tipping the scales at 240 adding more speed and power to his game.
