ACC and SEC squads are on Lakeland four-star safety Brayshon Williams (6-0, 173) with a Pac-12 contender in pursuit. The Class of 2024 prospect out of Florida has passed the 30-offer milestone with five official visits in the works and a top-three list in mind.

Over the summer months, Williams made stops at Alabama, Auburn, South Carolina, Clemson, Florida State, and Tennessee. The next round of trips will be paid for.

“I’m going to Florida State, Florida, I want to go down to Miami, Auburn, and Oregon,” Williams said.

Williams broke down his interest in the five programs on the official visit list.

THE BREAKDOWN

Florida State: “The first time I went up there it was over the summer. That was my last stop on my trip, I loved it. They showed us around, I fell in love with it. That moved them into my top three.”

Florida: “My relationship with the Gators has always been strong, they were the first team I loved. I will always love the Gators. I want to see their Week 1 game against Utah.”

Miami: “To be honest, I just want to go see Miami. We have not built a great relationship, but I want to see it to decide if I want to change something or not.”

Auburn: “I love Auburn too. The first time I went there was on my summer road trip. These schools, they know what they are doing; it is beautiful there. Their coaches spent time with me, they were with me the whole time I was there. We were playing Shadow Box; I beat one of their coaches.”

Oregon: “My boy Dallas (Wilson – 2025 WR) committed there; he has been showing me pictures, it is beautiful. My uncle likes Oregon, and my old teammate (2023 OL) Gernorris Wilson is telling me about Oregon.”

On the topic of Williams’ top three, that remains a private listing. But there is a strong feeling on the next level fit already for the four-star.

“I had a commitment date, but I felt like I should wait to make sure I am making the right choice,” Williams shared. “I want to make sure I’m going where I really want to be.”
