Prized Louisiana RB/LB Devin White Releases his Top 10 List

Written by Ryan Wright

When some high recruits trim their list of top teams down and make a spectacle of it, the act seems ridiculous. When a player like Devin White narrows down his list from over 40 offers down to 10 it makes sense.

Friday night, via Twitter, the Louisiana running back/linebacker did just that trimming his top teams down to Arkansas, UCLA, Ole Miss, Georgia, Florida State, Alabama, Miami, LSU, Texas A&M, and Auburn (in no order).

White added a note reading, “After so many months, days, and hours of recruiting I have finally decided to reduce my schools to 10, I want to thank each and every school that has recruited me and wanted to give me the opportunity to earn a free education and play for a great program. I know I can only choose 1 and I will take my time to make sure I make the right decision so anything can happen from here on out but as of now this is my final 10 schools, Thanks Devin White.”

Some of the schools cut out of the running for White’s services include Ohio State, Florida, Cal, Arizona, Arizona State, Oklahoma, Stanford, TCU, Tennessee, and Oklahoma State.

White has made it clear he wants to be a running back at the next level but he could easily shine at multiple positions. The 6’0.5”, 235 pound, athlete rushed for 2,287 yards with 30 touchdowns as a junior and came up with 93 tackles playing linebacker.

White helped North Webster (Springhill, Louisiana) to an 11-4 season in 2014.
