Q&A interview with Righetti High School TE Troy Artopoeus

The 2016 high school football season will be a proving ground for hundreds if not thousands of kids across the U.S. After the college camp circuit ends and offers have been handed out senior seasons leave one last chance for recruits to secure all the offers they can in hopes of extending their football career for another 3-5 years. For Righetti High School tight end Troy Artopoeus the 2015 season will be a coming out party.

Artopoeus has secured a name for himself on the 7×7 tournament circuit with Team B2G as a pass receiving tight end. Over the last two years Artopoeus has proven his ability to catch passes against some of the top back seven defenders in the nation. In 2016 he will be a bigger part of the Warriors’ offense picking up the slack from departed senior Steven Spadarotto’s (Missouri Tigers) 69 receptions for 1,002 yards with eight touchdowns.

We quizzed Artopoeus on all things football previously but we wanted to know more about this 6’4”, 220 pound, Central California prospect putting him through the Recruiting News Guru “getting to know you” Q&A series.
