Quick Q&A interview St. John Bosco QB Quentin Davis
A change is underway at winning Southern California football program St. John Bosco. A team stacked full of talent returns from a 12-2 team that finished ranked No. 19 in the nation by MaxPreps.com in 2014, but a new signal caller is projected to take over the reigns, Quentin Davis.
During an in-depth interview we found out all of the specifics of Davis’ skill set and how he is readying himself for the 2015 season, but we wanted to know more. What is the 6’1”, 207 pound, dual-threat quarterback like off the field?

What is your favorite movie?
“The Sandlot.”
Who is your favorite actor?
“Mark Wahlberg.”
Do you have a favorite TV show?
“Full House.”
Do you have a favorite book?
“It’s a tie between The Great Gatsby (F. Scott Fitzgerald) and The Road (Cormac McCarthy).”
What is your favorite type of music?
“Alternative Rock.”
Do you have a favorite musician or favorite group?
“I like the Arctic Monkeys and Jack White.”
What is your favorite song?
“So many good ones, too many to choose from.”
What music do you listen to getting hyped for a game or a practice?
“My sophomore year I was listening to more rap. My junior year and this year I’ve been listening to more alternative rock, not as heavy on rap.”
What hobbies do you have outside of playing football?
“I really like to go on adventures. I like hiking and going to the beach. I like finding new things to do out in the world.”
What is your favorite type of food?
“I really enjoy all Asian foods, Thai, Japanese, all of it.”
Do you have a favorite game system?
“PS4 (PlayStation 4).”
What is your favorite game on PS4?
“FIFA (soccer).”
Who is your favorite athlete?
“Odel Beckham (WR – New York Giants), when he was at LSU.”
What is your favorite holiday?
“Christmas.”
If you could be a superhero which superhero would you be?
“I’d be Batman.”
Why Batman?
“Because he has no super powers but has really cool weapons and gadgets.”
Do you have a favorite professional sports team?
“The Patriots.”
