Quick Q&A interview with Fort Smith Southside DE/OLB Andrew Clark
Andrew Clark is a hardworking outside linebacker/defensive end for Fort Smith Southside High School on and off the field. But in the rare moments of downtime, what does Clark like to do for fun? If you asked the Class of 2016 rising talent to pick a restaurant what kind of food did you just belly up to eat?
After an in-depth interview with Clark covering the 2014 season, recruiting, and how he is gearing up for his senior year, we wanted to get to know the Arkansas native a little bit better asking a series of quick questions.

What’s your favorite movie?
“The Blindside, by far, or Remember the Titans. They’re head to head.”
Who is your favorite actor?
“Tom Cruise is my favorite. I like all the old movies he used to do. I don’t watch a lot of movies now-a-days.”
What is your favorite Tom Cruise movie?
“Top Gun.”
Favorite TV show? “His and Hers” is my favorite show. It was “Numbers Never Lie” on ESPN.”
Your favorite book?
“The “Mulberry Project” (Linda Sue Park).”
Favorite type of music?
“Hip-Hop.”
Who is your favorite musician?
“Drake.”
Favorite song?
“Love Never Fails” by Brandon Heath. Probably doesn’t sound right liking Hip-Hop then come up with a Christian song.”
What music you listen to getting hyped before a game, practice, or weightlifting?
“It really depends. The team listens to music together. It depends on what they’re listening to. We listened to one song all year, “We Dem Boyz” (Wiz Khalifa). It’s a weird song.”
What hobbies do you have outside of football?
“I am a 2K14 player. I just won the championship. I don’t like the 15 version.”
What’s your favorite game system?
“Xbox 360.”
What is your favorite type of food?
“Texas Steak rolls. Its steak, veggies, and rice mixed in. My sister makes it for me. It’s pretty good.”
Favorite subject in school?
“English.”
Who is your favorite athlete?
“Richard Sherman.”
Which holiday is your favorite?
“Christmas.”
If you could be a superhero which superhero would you be?
“Batman.”
Why Batman?
“He’s mysterious but helpful. I think it’d be pretty cool to help people like that but be scary at the same time.”
Which team is your favorite professional sports team?
“The Pittsburgh Steelers are my favorite team even thought they didn’t do too good last year.”
Do you have a favorite college team?
“Arkansas or Oregon.”
