The Horned Frogs added another versatile piece to their 2017 class on Monday when Louisiana talent Garret Wallow committed to TCU.

Gallow helped John Curtis to an 8-3 mark against 5A talent in 2015 with 72 tackles, 61 solo, six tackles for a loss, one sack, and five passes defended. The 6-2, 207 pound, three-star prospect is off to a great start to his senior year with 19 total tackles, three tackles for a loss, and two passes defended in the Patriots 3-0 beginning.

College coaches love the different athletic talents Wallow brings to any defensive scheme. He can stay deep protecting against the vertical threat or come up on run sport bringing bone crushing hits. Depending on how he fills out in the coming years, he can easily adjust his game playing linebacker inside the box.

Some of the teams hoping to lure Gallow to their campus included Arkansas, Nebraska, Michigan, Duke, Kansas State, Memphis, Iowa State, Northwestern, Vanderbilt, Cincinnati, and Arizona.

Gallow posted a commitment statement on Twitter:
