Texas A&M Pulls 3-Star RB/ATH Jacob Kibodi out of Baton Rouge

The Aggies added another do-it-all athlete to their 2017 recruiting class securing Louisiana three-star talent Jacob Kibodi on Tuesday.
Kibodi has been a standout player for Christian Life Academy jumping securely on recruiting radars during his junior season. Playing ironman football, Kibodi rushed for 842 yards off 76 carries with 12 touchdowns and caught 18 passes for 324 yards with five additional scores in 2015. Playing safety on defense, the Crusaders standout had 50 tackles, 3.5 tackles for a loss, five passes defended, two fumble recoveries, and picked off two passes.
The Crusaders are off to a 3-2 record against 2A Louisiana competition in 2016 with their 6-2, 198 pound, leader picking up where he left off. In just two games of stats reported, Kibodi had 296 yards rushing with three scores and six receptions for 106 yards with another touchdown.
The Aggies won out on Kibodi over offers from Arizona, Georgia State, South Alabama, Louisiana-Monroe, Tulane, Purdue, and Arizona State. The commitment went public on Twitter with Kibodi posting, “It’s official! #GigEmGang17 #ItsAboutUs #SEC.”
Texas A&M now has 21 verbal commitments to their 2017 recruiting class. 247Sports rates the haul No. 11 overall and No. 5 in the SEC.
